I’ve been employed for three months now. Meaning I’ve reached the end of my probation period. And I hardly noticed it. Where did all that time go?
Regardless, I’m pleased about getting the letter. I’m out of the big ol’ Catch 22 for sure. Probably about the right time to take on the world.
Got our Avril Lavigne tickets early (we booked them online, you see) so that on the day itself we won’t have to rush about.
I presented before a client. A small part of an advertising proposal but a part nonetheless. No slips, no stumbles, no stutters. I think I did well. It made me feel good all day.
Here is the model for the related development placed in that office, which I had a look at before we went into the boardroom. Fancy, isn’t it?
After so long I think I can safely say that I am not bad on the road. And that’s saying a lot from someone as panicky on the road like me.
Ot at least, I used to be.
What do I do? I drive.
A colleague returned from her trip to Japan and came bearing snacks. You don’t see this every day.
Oddly enough I know many who have plans to visit Japan within the next year and it reminds me of how much I’d like to as well. I’d get to meet friends there who have promised me cherry blossom picnics and proper local cuisine.
It’s incredibly expensive though, so that would have to be put on hold. Till then, I can only dream on with a little taste of Matcha Kit Kat lingering in between my teeth.
I like it when I get into the car, habitually turn the radio on, and a song I like starts to play. It’s magic.
A few months back, I came across a shop selling Japanese and Japan-inspired artwork, both original and reprints.
I found this one mesmerising – a girl in a kimono and holding an umbrella, walking down the street all alone. I like to think she has a secret of sorts.
I got it in the end, had to wait awhile before I finally found a perfect spot for it. I could start a collection of mysterious figures sheltering themselves from the rain. Since I already have another one I really like and it looks like this one.
I asked the owners about the artist, but it is a reprint and they weren’t too sure. They did suggest a name as it ‘looks like his style’, though I have lost it since.
Can anyone help me figure this out?
